These terms and conditions are an English translation of the Dutch “Algemene voorwaarden”. The Dutch version is legally binding. In case of any conflict between the Dutch and English versions, the Dutch version prevails.
## 1. Definitions
In these terms and conditions, **Stepconfigurator** means the supplier: Verhalen Van, established at Burg. Jhr. Quarles van Uffordlaan 207, 7321 ZP Apeldoorn, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 88053385 with VAT number NL004531316B36, trading under the name Stepconfigurator. **Customer** means the natural or legal person purchasing a license. **Plugin** means the WordPress and WooCommerce plugin Stepconfigurator.
## 2. Applicability
These terms apply to all offers, agreements and deliveries between Stepconfigurator and the customer. Deviations only apply if agreed in writing.
## 3. Offer and agreement
An agreement is concluded as soon as the customer has placed an order and Stepconfigurator has confirmed it in writing or by email. Offers are non-binding unless otherwise stated.
## 4. Prices and payment
All prices are exclusive of VAT. Payment is made in advance, by invoice, within 14 days. In case of late payment, Stepconfigurator reserves the right to temporarily deactivate the license.
## 5. Delivery
The plugin is delivered digitally, usually within one to two business days after receipt of payment. Installation on the customer’s WordPress environment takes place by mutual agreement.
## 6. Right of withdrawal
Because Stepconfigurator is a digital product that is immediately usable upon delivery, the customer expressly waives the right of withdrawal as referred to in article 6:230o of the Dutch Civil Code upon purchase. This applies only to business and consumer buyers who have expressly agreed to this at the time of purchase.
## 7. License
The license is tied to the domain provided by the customer. The 1-site package allows one domain, the 3-sites package allows up to three domains. The license is personal and not transferable without prior consent.
## 8. Updates and support
During the license period (12 months from activation), the customer is entitled to:
– All released plugin updates
– Bug fixes and maintenance
– Email support in Dutch or English
After expiration the plugin continues to function but the right to updates and support lapses, unless the license is renewed.
## 9. Renewal
The license is not automatically renewed. The customer receives a reminder before expiration and can choose freely whether to renew.
## 10. Warranty and liability
Stepconfigurator warrants that the plugin works as described on the website. If the plugin demonstrably does not work as promised in the first two weeks and this cannot reasonably be resolved, the customer receives the full purchase amount back.
Liability is limited to the amount the customer has paid for the license. Stepconfigurator is not liable for indirect damage, consequential damage or lost profits.
## 11. Customer obligations
The customer ensures:
– A working WordPress installation (version 6.0 or higher)
– A working WooCommerce installation
– PHP version 8.0 or higher
– Regular backups of their own website
## 12. Intellectual property
The plugin and all associated code, documentation and graphic elements remain the property of Stepconfigurator. The customer obtains only a usage right within the limits of these terms.
## 13. Termination
Both parties may terminate the agreement at the end of the license period. Interim termination is possible by mutual agreement. License fees already paid are not refunded, except in the case described in article 10.
## 14. Applicable law
Dutch law applies to all agreements. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in the Gelderland district, the Netherlands.
## 15. Changes
Stepconfigurator reserves the right to modify these terms. Changes are announced at least 30 days before they take effect via email or the website.
